„Today, besides prison, concentration camps, forced labour camps, and expulsion from one's country there are other punishments less known but more subtle: not violent death but a kind of civil death, not only isolation in prisons or in a camps but social discrimination or permanent restriction of personal liberty.” John Paul II, 1983
As we were working for Europe for Christ! we stumbled over several cases of discrimination of Christians in Europe. We also realised that the OSCE and the UN had specific rapporteurs on this question. The phenomenon is in UN terms called Christianophia, in literature it is often referred to as Christophobia.
It is interesting that this phenomenon becomes more and more noticed and of concern for many. It is on Europe's Christians to wisely use today's tools in answering today's problems.
